Fall 2026 Uniform Shirts - Sizing

     

    STEP 1 - MEASURE YOUR STUDENT

    While our uniform shirts run true to size, we HIGHLY recommend you measure your student before ordering. Also keep in mind that the cotton shirts are a 60% Cotton/40% Poly blend and will shrink a little when dried.

    How To Measure:

    Neck- Measure around the neck, just below the larynx.

    Chest/Bust - Measure under the arms and around the fullest part of the chest.

    Sleeve - Measure from the center of the back at the base of the neck across the shoulder and down to the wrist.

    Are you concerned the size small might be too big for your male student?  I'll let you in on a secret...the only difference between the COTTON men's and the women's shirts is the direction of the button placket.  MANY men order the women's cotton shirts because they JUST FIT BETTER and no one can tell the difference.  If your son is between a youth XL and a men's S, order the women's cotton medium for a better fit. **the tag does say ladies, most moms cut the tag after they are sure the shirts fit as the shirts can't be exchanged after the tag has been cut.**

    This tip does NOT apply to the Performance (dry fit) polos as the women's is cut much different than the men's.

    The youth shirts tend to be BOXY and short in the torso - the Campus Store does not recommend the youth shirts due to inconsistencies in sizing.  If your student has a long torso, I'd steer you away from the youth shirts.  See the note above about ordering women's shirts for male students. 
     
     

    OTHER UNIFORM TIPS

    TALL SIZES - Talls are only available by special order and in men's short sleeve cotton shirts.  Women's shirts are not available in tall BUT some have ordered either men's cotton shirts or men's TALL cotton shirts and had them tailored to fit their student.

    Some have had their shirts tailored to fit better. Totally optional and up to you.  

    Hickman Tailors - 515-271-5256 have altered uniform shirts for many DCHS families.

    STEP 2 - ORDER

    ONLINE ORDERING DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR:
    Bulk orders are placed by the store on the 16th of every month, September - February 1, 2027. Orders placed during the school year take 5-7 weeks to arrive.

    You will be notified via email when your order arrives and is ready for pick up. WE DO NOT SHIP UNIFORM ORDERS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.
